What is your source for this Argentina claim?

Re: David Beckham
Turns out he’s brought his kids up as Argentina fans. What an absolute skid-stain of a human being. Rinses the England ‘brand’ for all its worth, then turns his kids into little traitors. It’s fucking weird apart from anything else. What would you expect from a London Man U fan I suppose.

Re: David Beckham
Aalborg, not necessarily.

If the said papers are making more money out of having access to brand Beckham over the medium to long term than the exposé of an infidelity would make them in the short term it is highly likely that they would agree not to publish in exchange for continued access to Posh and Becks.

Its when their marketability starts to wain that the press will drop them like a hot stone and then expose all the negative things they have had on them over the years.

Not necessarily saying its true but you cannot discount it just because of the absence of an injunction. Its how the media work.

A colleagues' son is working in Fleet Street and says there are no embargos nor legal guidance on this story so it's doubtful whether it's true.

Re: David Beckham
David Beckham was a world class midfielder, whether people like it or not. Hardly anyone that has played the game has crossed a ball better than him, if anyone.

Re: David Beckham
My bestest memory of Beckham (some of you will absolutely remember this):
WHU v Man Utd (can't remember if it was evening or day game)
Posh is at the game. Man U get a corner in front of the BML. Beckham comes across to take it...
All of us in BML begin to sing (to tune of Go West): "Posh Spice... is a dirty slag, Posh Spice... is a dirty slag...". Beckham abandons the corner and sets off shouting to the ref, gesticulating to the BML! Ref waves him away and points to corner flag, Beckham returns to jeers and boos.
BML sings: "Posh Spice... is a dirty slag, Posh Spice... takes it up the arse...". Beckham abandons corner again and sets off for ref... most of the players are now sniggering too, ref barely contains himself and signals to Beckham he will book him if he doesn't take the corner right fucking now.
Beckham takes corner and fucks it up, is gobbing off at us as he runs off downfield.
PRICELESS - worth the ticket money on its own. Will we EVER have happy times like that at the OS..?

Re: David Beckham
Exactly he made the most of his talent.
He was a very good international class player.

World class superstar as some suggest ... never in a million years, he had talent but not that much to be labelled world class.

Re: David Beckham
Definitely not overrated as he made the most of his talent
Now seems to be doing likewise as an international shagger.
Small wonder he looks so happy and she's a miserable cow

I never said you were comparing them!

I do think he was ovverrated though, looked spectacular doing what he did in a superb Man Utd side, but was never at the same level of Zidane, Fat Ronaldo, Skinny Ronaldo, Messi, Pirlo etc

Rooney has broken scoring records for England and Man Utd, but I have the same feeling about him too. Great players but not in my top bracket, being let downs in major international tournaments.

So Beckham has allegedly chucked a tiny new Beckham up his daughters teacher?

Does anyone care? Other than her of course, she's about to be financially secure forever. As is Posh who will do nowt about it presumably?

GQ:
PHELAN: A lot of people don’t know this—David and Victoria actually colored it [themselves] before he flew out to Japan. I actually think he did it better, because he didn’t put it all the way to the root. He just put on the tips. I was meant to fly out [with them to do his hair] on a particular day, but then all the media was saying he was focusing more on his hair than his football. I got the call that, no, it’s not going to happen. So I didn’t fly out, but I was going to.

Hairdresser flies out to restore the Beckham style
Vivek Chaudhary in Tokyo
Mon 17 Jun 2002 20.53 EDT

He is carrying the weight of a nation on his shoulders and it is beginning to tell on his head. The personal hairdresser of England captain David Beckham arrives in Japan tomorrow to ensure that the inspirational midfielder looks his best for this Friday's crucial quarter-final match.
Matters came to a head at the weekend when a torrential downpour during the match against Denmark left Beckham's distinctive mohican hairstyle looking rather shaggy and unkept, much to the embarrassment of his style conscious wife Victoria. England won the match 3-0 to qualify for the quarter-finals.

According to reports, Victoria, who is seven months' pregnant and was watching the match on television at home, got straight on the phone to Aidan Phelan, Beckham's personal hairdresser, to instruct him to fly to Japan in the aid of the England cause and the famous Beckham barnet.

Mr Phelan will fly into Tokyo's Narita airport tomorrow and will be whisked straight off to the England training camp on Awaji Island, about three hours away, where he will set about trying to rectify the Beckham mohican.
